i tried, didn't i?
i even plotted my future around u
snapped back to reality
and i found myself lost
kept going around in circles
couldn't take myself out

maybe you played me
fooled me with your games
shame on me for falling over and over
i hope you're happy
because i got lost

then, i found myself
but questions haunted me
what could have been
if you were true
what would've been
if i didn't ran away from you
these nightmares take away my peace

maybe we should've been together
but we're not
that was our fate
though he kept bringing us together
now, it's through
i hope you're happy with someone new

now, i'm finally here
at a point where i'm finally happy
life's back to normal
alive again
everything might not be dandy
but at least it's not because of you

maybe you're with someone now
or you're happy being single
i wouldn't know
because you're out of my life
and finally out of my heart
but you'll always hold a special memory in it
i hope you're happy
sincerely, i do

Nelly Furtado's new album is my current pick out of all the upcoming and newly released records. This one is pure amazing. The fusion of different cultures is so astounding. Honey, this woman won a Grammy! But she needn't a Grammy to prove her musical capabilites. Her new album, Folklore, stands by itself. As MTV put it, "Nelly Furtado's new album Folklore boasts a medley of sounds hard to find on 10 different albums, let alone one CD: banjos, breakbeats, psychedelic guitars, vibraphones, harps, tablas, chimes and bells of every variety (organ, church and wedding)." Her lyrics delivers a diverse message about childhood daydreams and twilight adult musings, immigration, soccer, Portuguese vacations and figures of speech, Brazilian martial arts, and her personal discovery of true love. Plus, the cover isn't so bad.

I know this quite early but I thought I'd do a preliminary list of my goals for 2004.

1. Learn and be familiar with Linux
2. Be a consistent DL
3. Learn Flash (This has been my frustration since senior high)
4. Find out new style and facets for and of self
5. Either acquire an eMac or build a kickass PC that could beat the G5
